I firmly believe that having your own business is the best way to do that.
However, there's one ingredient required for success that too many get wrong...
It's a critical factor that, if neglected, will leave you dead in the water before you've even begun.
Which is a shame because here's the irony: It's such a preventable issue!
All you have to do is put on your thinking cap and take some pretty simple steps.
So what am I talking about?
Well, it's a secret-that's-not-really-a-secret, one that has been demonstrated in history, time and again.
This is something so important that I decided to shoot a short video around it.
As a former history teacher with an undying passion for story, I decided to film this video on a historic street in Kiev, Ukraine to tell an important story of power, control, and the cost of a poor strategy.

if you don't know these things, nothing else matters.
You could be the most qualified and talented person in your field...
...you could have the most beautiful website money can buy...
...but if you don't have a strategy in place to reach your ideal customer, then you're just a silent tree that falls in an empty forest.

The difference between success and failure?
It almost always comes down to these two strategic questions:
1. Do you have a product or service that people want?
2. If you have a product or service that people want, are you targeting the right people?
When you combine the right strategy with the right STORY, well, then there's almost no goal you can't achieve because you'll be tapping into the most powerful and proven persuasion approach in human history.
